Job CharacteristicsResponsible for first line leadership and coaching of work unit to meet production schedulesParticipates in product cost improvement; controls quality and yields; plans production activitiesPromotes safe working conditions and positive employee relationsCoordinate AM pillar step 0-4 landing and push the progress in plant level Assists to organize and demonstrate AM overall progress and activities in internal Audit Follows quality control guidelines and procedures to ensure that raw materials and finished goods comply with engineering and product specificationsCoach technicians in conducting quality assurance tests to ensure that products meet established specificationsResponsibilities may include capital projects and training other production team leadersEducation/Work ExperienceDegree in Chemical Engineering or ChemistryTPM AM pillar landing experience is preferred Involve or participate in TPM formal audit by internal or external Three to five years of experience in production supervision and/or quality control in a chemical manufacturing environment in a related industryIndependence level/Reports to: Execute production plan per budgeted standards. Executes plant labor and overhead budget. Manages adjustments to any batch to bring it into specification.
